Digital Transformation Strategist

Position Summary Co-create and advocate digital ad sales strategies, supporting work-flows and proposals that focus on Discovery's Constellation of multiplatform products, while understanding and adapting to market/client needs, and highlighting key differentiators. Identify external vendors that can help us enhance our digital ecosystem and deliver efficiencies in cost and operational workflows. Act as an internal advisor to the ad sales teams across DLA-USH to help them create digital solutions that generate value to our clients and bring the intended revenue goals. Responsibilities 1. Advise and follow up on Ad Sales teams, so that they become digital experts that deliver strategic and valuable proposals. 2. Continuously identify opportunities to evolve our digital Ad Sales business, from value propositions to content to operations to sales teams. 3. Identify key vendors and make agreements that represent and enhance Discovery's digital ecosystem. 4. Co-design and implement scalable workflows and methodologies so that each market can generate digital revenue in faster ways. 5. Be an advocate so that our own product owners (O&O, Social Media, Apps, etc.) are constantly creating and implementing strategies to grow (in audiences and engagement). 6. Expert on digital business metrics to be able to safeguard that margins with vendors are being respected by the Ad Sales teams. 7. Create a digital culture within the company in every day interactions, as well as through dedicated trainings to the ad sales teams. Requirements 10 or more years of digital experience and thorough understanding of the entire digital journey (research, strategic planning, creativity, product, distribution and reporting) and capability of transmitting this knowledge to different teams (Managers, Ad Sales, Content, Research, planners, etc). Strategic problem solver who knows how to understand client's needs (internal and external) and build efficient and measurable solutions to the problems. Understand digital revenue KPI's to guarantee that each market is creating strong digital proposals to meet the goals. Experience in key partnerships, product innovation, programmatic, search marketing, and content strategies. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
