The Integration Specialist (IS) uses their knowledge of the software and industry-standard protocols (HL7) in the successful service delivery of Latam Projects, based in Colombia. The Integration Specialist will be responsible for providing the remote/onsite installation and integration efforts for product implementation and configuration efforts as directed. As a subject matter expert (SME), the Integration Specialist will provide focused leadership and consultative project support for HL7 integration. Main
Responsibilities:
Participates as a technical expert to analyze customer needs and develop site-specific workflow requirements for HL7 integration and software configuration, working with the customer and the AGFA Implementation team. Consult and design custom solutions that solve customer problems, bringing value to the customer using our solution to improve their operations Develop and maintain integration procedures and practices by supporting business objectives. Identify and resolve technical issues related to HL7 integrations. Complete project deliverables on time and according to specifications. Communicate technical details and activity status to Project Managers, customers, and Integration Team. Maintain close contact and share knowledge with the internal and external teams, regional and global services. Review and provide input on product documentation Report any product or documentation issues. Ensuring Implementation and Integration project work processes and checklists are utilized and updated as required. Attend AGFA product-training, underlying technologies courses and maintain expert working knowledge of targeted products and solutions. Education:
BS Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Computer Science or equivalent Experience and requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of previous experience as an HL7 SME supporting technical clients in a high tech or hospital software environment. Clinical workflow experiences an essential requirement. Minimum of 5 years of previous experience on Ris and Pacs systems. 3
years experience programming in any of of these lanuguages:
C++, Java, C#.Net or Javascript, Python Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Orion Rhapsody Interface Engine Advanced working knowledge of HL7 FHIR and Webservices knowledge Knowledge of Databases such as SQL or Oracle Experience working with external partners to create custom solutions Proven experience delivering projects on time & communication skills Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of networking, hardware, and operating systems Windows and Linux Self-motivated with a history of remote work Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong Leadership skills - Is accountable and takes ownership of issues escalated to the team and acts as a facilitator when required. Commitment to teamwork and ability to foster productive working relationships with internal and external groups Knowledge of health care workflows and Integrations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically working customer communication Experience in healthcare industry, specifically interacting with physicians when identifying solutions or delivering solutions Background in technical writing - specifically functional requirements and design specifications
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
