Lead Front-End Engineer (Angular)

Job description You like taking creative product ideas and bringing them to life in our web browsers. You have a good understanding of how the web works and have experience in building, maintaining and iterating on high quality web applications. You have a good grasp of interfacing with a variety of backend APIs (REST and more) along with industry recognized development strategies, including both development and testing. Being proficient in one of the modern JS frameworks (Angular specifically for this role, React or Vue experience is a nice-to-have) is essential, though we also value deep knowledge of the basics of building-block of the DOM and browser platforms features. A good understanding of git and modern build pipeline tooling such as Yarn, NPM, Webpack, and Typescript. Having an eye for design details is key so a good understanding of SASS/CSS and associated patterns is also required. Reports to:
Web Director High level responsibility Take responsibility of projects and tasks you are working on Ensure all code is developed using industry recognized standards Assist the team with peer reviews and in ensuring the highest quality code is delivered. Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are well understood, pragmatically thought through, technically feasible and accurately developed Job requirements BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. At least 6 years experience working with core front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript). Experience dealing with cross-browser testing and fully responsive development. Work experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc) Work experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks (Styled Components) or preprocessor generated CSS (SASS). Work experience integrating web solutions with external web services. English level B1 or higher. Advanced-level knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
